About Mark Jordan
In 1994, Mark Jordan was convicted on federal bank and firearm charges. As an 18-year-old first-time offender in the midst of a national tough-on-crime movement, he was sentenced to 27 years in federal prison, where he was later WRONGFULLY CONVICTED of a prison homicide.
Not to be defined by his imprisonment, Mark focused on education, attained literacy, earned his GED and enrolled in college. Mark studied criminal justice reform as he tutored fellow disadvantaged prisoners, teaching GED and Adult Continuing Education courses. During his incarceration, Mark has amassed more than 60 degrees and certifications representing thousands of hours of course study and program attendance in diversified subject areas.

We seek to raise public awareness of the facts and circumstances surrounding the wrongful murder conviction of educator, essayist, activist lawyer and federal prisoner Mark Jordan. We offer an official forum where supporters can get up-to-the-minute news concerning Mark’s litigation projects, social justice struggles and related activities from behind the wall, stay updated on developments in the struggle for Mark’s release, and join with others to provide financial and practical support for Mark and his many campaign efforts.
Goal
Our main goals are to ensure that Mark has the support and resources to most successfully continue with his work and abolition efforts from prison, to expose his wrongful conviction, and to secure his release and return to our community. Make a difference and support this meaningful campaign for justice today! #FreeMarkJordan
